Hi, I would like to restore the "failsafe " mode to my lilo.conf file.

I obliterated it and just had Linux & Windows and you guessed it
mucked up my monitor settings and got a blank screen after boot.

All ok now but for future I think i need failsafe back !

Anyone know the lines to put back into lilo.conf and what you have to do to update lilo for the next boot ?

To update lilo run

/sbin/lilo

as root after you've edited lilo.conf and saved it.
