LAN with static IP addresses and shared internet connection

Hi

I have a very small LAN with a setup like this: My LAN

After an Friday evening spent in diffrent wizards (Drakconnect, Drakegw) in Mandrake 9.1 i finaly got this configuration to work (i think i had the firewall disabled at the moment though).

There was no problem resciveing IP address in my Palm Tungsten C from my Mandrake box who acted as a DHCP server. I was actually out "surfing" with my Palm for a while, the Mandrake box got rebooted a couple of times. But it still worked like a charm.

I turned of my pc and pulled the chord out from my access point before i got to sleep. The Saturday after that i could not connect to my access point anymore... i have no idea why i belive the configuration is the same.

I can Ping my accesspoint.

The SliMP3 still rescives IP address from the DHCP server (or is it just using a old one..??). But atleast it still workes.

My palm rescives a IP if i turn on the DHCP server in my access point, but still no connection to internet.

What i would like to do is:

1. Configure a static LAN. Were my Slim3, accesspoint, Palm and laptop has static addresses. I have no need for a DHCP LAN.

2. Make sure that my Palm and Laptop can access the Internet thru the firewall.

I have tried using Webmin, netconf etc to configure my network but i have no luck with that. I am guessing that there are mandrake scripts etc. that are causing me problems. I would like to know how this workes without using wizards etc.

Is there any Mandrake guru who could point me in the right direction, configuring my LAN and firewall without wizards? It would be sweet to have a clean restart.

BTW My internet connection for my Mandrake box is working fine.
Mandrake 9.1
Two network cards
Telia ADSL (ISP)

Regards Klas
