keymap problem due to *ati* driver.

Hi all,

I have a keyboard problem after installing ati driver.

When i press "-" key it produces a ")" key.

also a->q
also d->c

and many more.These are only in X session,not in console.(tty)

Now i have un-installed *ati* driver.Still the problem continues.
This seems something with keymap.But i guess why ATI driver changed the Xkb keymap.

pls.help on this problem.?

Hi, More than likely a copy of xorg.conf was backed up when you installed the driver/module.

That is of course that you don't have that problem before x starts.

If so, just rename your old xorg.conf file.

Atm it's called xorg.conf~, change that and overwrite the new file, or edit it if you're up to it.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Thanks.

The Problem is solved by reinstalling *libxkb* File.

And the problem is not with *ati*,because installed XGL that has contributed a lot with problem.

So i removed the libxkb file of xgl that solved the problem.
