kde keyboard shortcuts scheme
 

hi,

right now i run the default scheme, with which i can use the windows key, even though in config ur desktop -> accessability -> keyboard shortcuts -> modifier keys, the 'Win' modifier has '<None>' as 'X11-Mod.'

i want to use the windows keyboard scheme. when i change to it from the default scheme, it says i don't have a windows key, which agrees with the <None> but contradicts the fact that i can press the windows key and the mdk menu pops up.

so i decided to try despite the warning that i don't have a windows key, but then the windows key stopped working. i tried to change back to the default scheme, the win key still din't work either.

ne1 knows what's going on? if so, please help.

It's not an elegant solution, but have you tried deleting or moving your .kde folder, so KDE creates a new folder with default settings when you log in again.

All environment changes you made will disappear, but your Windows Key should now work as it used to.

i will try that when my win key stops working, but it still works because i haven't tried to change the scheme yet. i guess the problem here is to get it to recognize the win key when i use the windows scheme.
