kde 3.4.2 vertical icon spacing
did a search but didn't see anything specific enough to this.
while in 'align to grid' mode i've been able to adjust icon horizontal spacing via the kcontrol-->background-->advanced menu. apparently the grid has no gui controls but reponds to the icon text size and placement. by adjusting that i've been able to get a good east/west placement on my desktop, however, the north/south placement doesn't seem to have such a control mechanism, or at least i've not found it. can someone please point me to a solution here. i've run out of room for my icons. (had everything placed right with mandriva 10.1 but just in the process of upgrading to 2006 and can't get the desktop replicated.) thanks, BabaG |
