kde 'restores' windows at start up.

hi,
i have this problem with kde.
one time, i had 2 konqueror windows and 1 xmms window open. i either rebooted or halted the comptuter. now everytime i log in, those same 3 windows come up for no reasons. i guess kde is trying to restore the 'previous' session, but the session it's trying to restore is many many sessions ago.
what can i do?
thanks.

open KCC (KDE Control Center aka. Configure Your Desktop). it's in the "K"icker->configuration sub menu. go to components->session manager & check the "start with an empty session" button. apply, reboot. kde will load with a clean desktop. (IE., any open apps you had when you shut down will not load automatically when you reboot) if you wanna reset the session manager to another option afterwards, do so.
