Just a newbie question....

I have setup my urpmi's and was installing a game listed. I let it run overnight because this machine is at my workplace, when I got in this morning it had stalled on one the downloads, 5/7, so I just hit cancel, when I went back to try to re-download and install it, I get a bad signature error, then it says , I am sorry there was a problem with this installation.

My question is, is there a Temp folder that it downloads these rpms in that I can clear out?

maxplayer14; if u provide a temp folder where it would be accessable with
permission from u(as root) yes. now if original reference is a window stand-point view do not think so. could be wrong but i say it in-that w/l not quite the same.

i'm not at the linux box right now (at work), but urpmi stores temp rpm's in /var/cache/urpmi/partial.......... or something very similar to that location (going from memory). just delete anything in there & redownload. if you get invalid GPG errors, ognore them & answer yes to continue install. the packages will work just fine.

Yes it's /var/cache/urpmi/rpms.
If you lock the urpmi database and want to fix it remove .LOCK and .RPMLOCK
in the /var/lib/urpmi folder

Hope this helps
