Japanese Input method vanished

With Mandrake 10 RC1 for AMD64
Optional Languajes: japanese, spanish
At installation time: use UNICODE as default

The problem:
1.- Japanese input not work in japanese account
2.- The programs kinput2 et alter are not installed
3.- Looking for those, to install them, doesnt appear

My questions:
1.- Japanes input method kinput2 not more supported?
2.- If there is a new one, which one?
3.- Is possible to install the older packages int this new version?
