Yes, I know where the Mandrake download pages are. I was asking about the 9.2 ISO's that Mandrake claimed would be out by the end of October for public download. They are not out yet.

They are out, at the link that david_ross provided you have to choose one of the selections ...."i agree to support...or.... I am already a member....." the selection will take you to the down load links.

That link takes you to the net downloads. I did that it worked fine, but over 2 hours even with a cable modem.
But it was worth it, been using 9.2 for three days now, and it is fine!

It's people like you that make me want to risk upgrading my 9.1 --> 9.2. :p

9.2 rocks. Have used every distro there is, was using Mandrake 9.1 before. Did not want to upgrade, so did a fresh network install of 9.2, it went flawless, even have an LG CD RW, which still works and burns fine. Now all I want is for the ISO's to be release so I can install on daughters computer in another room and not networked.\

Newbies listen up, do not upgrade, do fresh install and you should not have any problems with 9.2.

The LG cdrom/Mandrake 9.2 issue is with LG cd-rom drives only. CDR, CDRW, DVD, DVD-CDRW drives etc. are not affected.

Don't you have to join the Mandrake Club to download the ISOs for 9.2? :confused:

No, you can do a net download if you have a broadband connection. It takes appx. 2 -2 1/2 hours.

I tried a network install, i have cable, very fast cable, and after trying a few different FTP's each one timed out. i will wait for the iso's to actually be available for download, hopefully soon
