Question Is this a problem???


every time I open my MANDRIVA LINUX CONTROL CENTER I get an error message Impossible to run unknown "install" program. Then on the software install tab I dont see the intall Icon. Is there a way to fix this??? I ve searche other threads but didnt find a problem like this, if I overlooked it let me know where to find it.

It's an incorrect setting in the command associated with the shortcut icon. If you are selecting the Configure your computer icon. Right click it, choose edit item and make sure the command is /usr/sbin/drakconf make the necessary changes then save. If you are using the Install, Remove & Update Software icon again right click choose edit item the command should be /usr/bin/rpmdrake make the necessary changes and save.
