I just got Mandrake 10 Download version installed. It is a nice alternative to Windows XP, especially the new Gnome!
Anyway, I ran the check from ATI's site and it read me as having XFree86 version 4.3.1 installed. Now, I looked at their available drivers, and they only go up to v4.3.0.1. Well, I tried to download and install this driver, but it didn't work. It tried to install something for a package dependecy, then it said installation failed because there is a file confliction.
Incorrect version, correct? Is there an ATI driver I can use? Is there a way to make this one work?
I am a big noob, so really spell it out for me please!
