Installing Qt

The problem I have is I can't install qt in my system. Whenever I try to install a program that requires qt I get this message.

"checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!"

Then when I try to install qt-devel, I get this error message. The thing about this message is it's too long and won't even fit my screen. So I don't know what I have to do. Is anyone have any idea about this problem?

That's just a dependency issue.

Go to www.rpmfind.net and search for whatever it says is needed.
If you look at the first line, it explains the problem.
"libqt3 = 3.1.2-14mdk is needed by libqt3-devel-3.1.2-14mdk"

This means that you need to install libqt3 before you can install the devel package (and make sure the versions match exactly). This is common when installing any devel package.
