I found some rpm's that I would like to try on my Mandr 10 O.
But one complains of a missing libraw1394. There are plenty installed and they work.
How can I get that software (MainActor v. 5) to realize that it has what it needs, and where it is??

Another older program wants to use libkfm, that appears to be an old KDE filemanager.
That I have found in another rpm, but that won't install because of missing kdesupport.
Now is that to be understood in general terms, it doesn't sound like a module??

A third program wants another version of libjasper than the one installed.

I tried with some success to create softlinks with the missing version names to the existing ones, but this doesn't work with this one. Should I try and find the old libjasper? And what if it won't install due to the newer ones already there?

I hope it is possible to get software to work that is not exactly expecting the latest distro version
