Installing 9.1 PPC on Blueberry iBook

I currently have OS X Panther installed on my 40 GB drive in my Blueberry iBook. I am running the CD right now for Mandrake 9.1 PPC. I am at the partition screen. I looked at the partitions it shows and selected one that says it was empty. I know the other two partions were being used as one is my Storage Partition and the other is the OS partition.

How do I go about properly partitioning the drive?

In my (limited) experience with this I would suggest using Disk setup on the OSX disk to set you partitions. It seemed to work well for me.

Hope it helps

iBook

Do you have a Blueberry iBook that you are using? Also, I am actually Installing OSX back on it since my drive got screwed up....I am doing a split partition...OSX and Linux 18GB each. I am guessing that should be fine...but I have been reading that I need at least a 1 meg Apple Bootstrap partition first in line....in order to dual boot between Mac and Linux. Do you know anything about this?

Hmmm...
As I remember it, Mandrake set up the bootstrap partition for me. Forgive me it has been a while since I did this and it was for a friend of mine. I wish I had it here to look. Sorry but that's about all I can tell you for now. If you were using YDL there is good support available, but my experience with Mandrake PPC, was that there were few who could help.
