Installed using ./configure, make, make install, how to remove?
 
I installed a particular item from source using the usual ./configure, make, make install.... How do I remove this particular item after installing?

you may get lucky:

`make uninstall`

hint : install it the next time by using check install , it will convert it into rpm then install it
all u will do is
./configure
make
checkinstall
