Installation question
 

I have installed a second hard drive in my computer, and I want to put Mandrake on it. So, how would I select the hard drive I want to put Linux on?

during the setup u need to choose the partion u want to install to

I havent ever installed linux before. But still, would the second hard drive just be considered a different partition? And I was going to use diskdrake to set up Mandrake, because the hard drive is unformatted.

If you've started the installation and gotten to the partitioning screen, it's almost self-explanitory on what to do...just select the second tab (or the drive you want to install mandrake to) and create partitions on it.

yes u can install Mandrake linux on any partition u like
i have faced no problem till now
