install modules error

Well I am making an attempt to compile the latest and greatest kernel in Mandrake 10, but it just doesn't want to work.

The kernel itself compiles without trouble, as do the modules, but when I do a make modules_install it doesn't like me.

Code:
if [-r System.map ]; then /sbin/depmod -ae -F System.map 2.6.6; fi
WARNING: /lib/modules/2.6.6/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/frontends/tda1004x.ko needs unknown symbol errno
make: *** [_modinst_post] Error 1
Any ideas as to what is going on? Or more importantly how to fix it.

Well I axed out the whole dvb section in the .config file and all is well now. Not like I really needed it anyway, so all is well.

DVB stands for Digital Video Broadcasting. I didn't need it. In all likelihood, you don't need it. You can unselect the whole DVB category under Device Drivers/Multimedia Devices.

Or look for & disable the tda1004x driver under the DVB category..
