Thats my Mandriva 2006 KDE theme (It looks a lot better now that I have upgraded to KDE 3.5). You can get all the themes I am using from kde-look.org. The two superkaramba themes running are liquid weather++ (using the cynapses skin), the system monitor is called cynapses. The kicker background is called glass. The Mandriva button, is a kbfx theme I made myself, which I posted here on the kde-look.org website. The color scheme is called linmans (search for linman). The background is called Emensity and is from deviantart. The main icon theme I am using is crystal clear with other icons from kde-look. The style that goes well with all the stuff I mentioned above is linspire clear.

Hope this helps. :)

PS:
I have received a lot of email regarding this screenshot, so thanks everyone for getting in touch.

Anymore clues about the name because I don't want to spend all day trawling the site.

i also like the other desktop but i don't think it is mandriva
i am searching for kde 3.5 for mandriva right now and may be just may be one day i will have a desktop like yours
thanks to you all

The other Desktop is GNOME 2.12.x running on FreeBSD 6.x. I'm mainly a KDE guy but occassionally like to tinker around with GNOME. There are KDE 3.5 rpms for Mandriva 2006 available here. Make sure you follow the instructions for setting up urpmi and doing the upgrade.

reddazz, I like your kmenu buttons a lot, but I don't seem to be able to use them. If I change the original kmenu button with yours, then it is stretched to feet to a square. Do you know how I can keep the original dimensions in KDE?

www.kde-look.org download and install kbfx

It is a Kicker Applet (I have not yet been able to get to work on KDE 3.5 since the changes in applets).

When you install the kbfx applet as mentioned above, make sure that your kicker size is set to normal and that you hide applet handles. Kicker will look really cool if you do that.

It works fine for me on KDE 3.5 and I didn't have to recompile it.
