I got problems with pkg-config and pango

I've downloaded a version of anjuta development enviroment and i got Gnome 2 (i don't remember the version exactly but it comes with the installations cd's of Mandrake 9), and i can't install it right.
when i start the installation process anjuta needs certain libraries like pango, pkg-config and others.
please a need help, if someone had this problem earlier than me please ˇˇgive me a hand man!!

i have no idea, but you can post this in Software forum and i'm sure you'll get a better feedback ...
