I can't input root pass word .


I can not input root pass word,How do I fix it?

You're not supposed to see the actual typing of the password for security reasons. Just type it and press enter.

Does that mean your keyboard is not functioning or you cannot type... I'm confused..

I think he types root as user and then when he types the password, he can't see any * or marks, but that's a security feature. Just type the correct one and hit enter.
