Okay so Im trying to set up my wireless card om my computer.(its internal) I type
iwconfig and it says that there is no wireless extensions. So then I run hwinfo --wlan and says that the command not found. What else can I do to this point.
You can use lspci (from the pciutils package) to check for wireless cards and other hardware. The one you wish to install, hwinfo and lshw are also good commands, so its worth installing them using your distros package manager. One thing to remember is that you have to be root in order to run those commands or enter the full path (/sbin/somecommand or /usr/sbin/somecommand) names if you are an ordinary user.
