how to mount a sony usb thumbdrive?

hi all,
is there any body know how to mount the sony usb thumb drive to mandrake 9.1? For redhat, after plug in the device, it will auto mount. But how for mandrake, i check the /mnt, only /floppy and /cdrom are there, no /diskonkey mount point.

Appreciate help.
