Hi.
alert!
I was wondering if you great folks could help me. I've recently started using mandrake 9.2, which i bought as the discovery pack. i then discovered that i don't have the kernel source, which i need for installing drivers (i think).
i managed to find the rpm for version 2.4.22-10mdk, which is the kernel version i have, at rpm.pbone.net (Actually there was a link to mirrors.kernel.org, and that's where i downloaded it from)
Question 1
Can i trust the source i got from there to be accurate? If not, where can i get the correct source? I couldn't find anywhere on kernel.org that referred to the specific release 10mdk, only to version 2.4.22
Question 2
Assuming i have the right rpm, how do i now install it?
Thanks very much!
Jaz
