how to control the monitor power
 

hello ALL

I installed mandrake 10.1 and I would like to turn off the ability the system has to turn off the monitor when this is not been used for long time, where I have to go in KDE or what is the command

If you are using Mandrake amd KDE then click the

Star
Sytem
Configuration
Configure your desktop
PowerControl
Display Power Control

and set it to whatever you want

Also check or enable dpms in the XFConfig file to get even better overall display control via the above posted controls.
