how do i make the gkrellm appear on boot into kde desktop?


ok guys how i make gkrellm appear on kde desktop automatically?

In Mandrake 10.0, I simply left gkrealm open when I shut pc down and it would always reopen on its own upon reboot. I assume would do same on 10.1 just have not got around to installing it yet.

Isn't there some sort of startup file somewhere?

You can create a link to gkrellm in ~/.kde/Autostart/

how about /etc/rc.d/rc.local

actually, in menu > command center > system there is a startup list.

In KDE you have the choice of either not remembering any previous session, loading what you last had open before you closed KDE, or loading the last time you manually saved your session. See the Session Manager section of the KDE Control Centre.
