Question How can I start lirc at boot time ?

I installed lirc from sources. After install lircd started without any problem. After reboot when I tried to start lircd it didn't want to start. I saw lirc created a file "!lirc" in the /dev directory which file I have to rewrite each time I reboot. If I copy (with F5 in mc because cp command doesn't work for this file) that file in the /dev directory lircd starts without problems. What is this file (!lirc) and how can I write this file in the /dev directory at startup ?
