How can I disable this message in Mandriva 2006?

This message appears constantly in a KWrited window and, if I open the terminal, it also appears here:

Message from syslogd@localhost at Fri Sep 1 18:54:12 2006 ...
localhost kernel: CPU0: Temperature above threshold

It suddenly stops for a while, but I installed the OS again and the message shows when a process like an installation, when conecting to internet, when opening a program, and it's annoying, specially when I'm working with the terminal.
Please, tell me what can I do.

Kind of like thumping noises in your car. Ignore them and they will surely go away ... with the tow truck.

Looks as though you need to check the Heatsink/fan. Don't ignore the overtemp warning, just like in your auto, that warning it telling you something, pay attention!
