Help! Having Trouble Downloading Java

Hello to all and a Merry Chritmas.

If someone out there is not to busy I sure would appreciate some help
with downloading Java from the Sun website.

I have tried to download Java with Ffox, Opera and Konqueror with no
luck. When I start the download it gets to about 25kb and stalls.

I have searched LQ forums and Ffox forums with no luck there either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.

wget is usually more reliable - try:
wget http://sun.com/java-xxx.ext

If it fails again then try bypassing any cache systems:
wget --cache=off http://sun.com/java-xxx.ext

Thanks david_ross, but neither of the links would work. I guess it
could be something on my system thats keeping me from
downloading from the Sun site or maybe it's I am not supposed
to have Java 1.5. Either way I will keep trying.

Again Thanks

The links I gave were just examples in the context of the command.
