Hi there, I am stuck here with the last part of my config of mandrake 7.2
I am running this on a laptop (Toshiba 300CDS) and install went pretty good. Only things that are not working is my sound and my 3Com 3C589C.
When I put this card in PCMCIA slot 0, I hear a beep and the green light goes on, so far so good. Then I start harddrake and I see no soundcard and no networking device. No problem you should say because there are two buttons Module and Run Config Tool.
Not in my case and that's my problem, where are those buttons to install those 2 devices. I searched internet for a week, read all about PCMCIA and soundcards but for those 2 problems I still don't have any solution. So who can help me out here? Where are my buttons to install devices in Harddrake? Why is the command sndconfig not working in Mandrake 7.2? Last but not least, how can I get my 3com 3C589C so far to initialize in Mandrake 7.2 ?
All help is very appreciated since I have no clue anymore how to solve this thing!
