Guarddog help

Help , I cant open Guarddog as root, but it allows me as non-root....

This is from the kde desktop btw, not from command line.
From Command Line I get these errors:

[root@localhost bin]# guarddog
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
kbuildsycoca running...
Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy
[root@localhost bin]#

Any ideas???

And also, how do i encrypt on the internet, keep getting warning about sending info across the network unencrypted, even after I set all the settings I wanted in the Security tab of Konqueror web browser???

I got that error, too, but it seems to have stopped. I just ignored it and it didn't seem to cause any problems. I have no clue what it means... wish I did.

If you have run it once, I believe that it installs and runs on start up. Maybe it's busy because you are trying to run two instances of it....?

I couldn't get Guarddog to load at startup because the Mandrake firewall kept insisting on taking over. Once I managed to disable that and someone gave me a little script to make Guarddog start automatically, I stopped getting that message.

You might want to see my thread on getting Guarddog to start automatically:
