Grrr...

I recently switched to M9.2 from RH9.2 I cant seem to get it going. I can do the base install but it skips TONS of stuff like screen savers and such.. I wish there was a select all option!! I did the pick package option but there is a ton!

Anyways, I get into KDE and I use the ADD package program. I pick the KDE stuff I want and the GL screensavers and a slug of other stuff I want. It installes everytime. I reboot and then I cant do anything! I get in and the menu is choped off and only a few things show. NOTHING of importance. Its basicly useless.. I tried it as root and it does the same thing? WHAT GIVES? This really sucks!!

There are a dozen threads on the menu bug here. Mandrake created updated ISOs that avoid this and many other problems, but in their infinite wisdom decided to make them available to club members only. So if you haven't already switched to another flavor of Linux, update your copy with the latest patches and then run "update-menus -v" from the CLI.

My ISO's were from January 04.
I will run that command and see what happens.
Thanks!
