i don't have the plastik right now, but as long as i can remember you have to create some directorys and copy some files there. anything is described in the readme.txt or install.txt . then there will be something in control center and in the console properties 'cause it has a theme for the console too. read it and your on the right way.
if someone else can reply exactly ok, else i could but only in 2 days when i'm comming home.
It should be in the KDE control centre; perhaps you're looking in the wrong place?
Try this.
Click on the 'start' button (the one with the MDK star logo on it).
System -> Configuration -> Configure your Desktop. (If you right click on the desktop and select the same thing, you don't get the full monty)
In the tree menu on the left click 'look n feel'.
Select 'Style'.
On the first tab of the style window there should be a heading; Widget Style - below this will be whatever style you've got running at the current time. There should be an arrow to a drop down list at the end of this box. Click it and select Plastik from the list. There should be loads of them - Keramic, Marble, Platinum to name but a few.
When Plastik is selected hit 'apply' and you're done.
Yeah, its not there thats where I am confused, it should be there by default but its not and there isnt a version for 3.2 on kde-look.org so im snookered.
