geforce 9600 gt without driver and no 3d accelaration

i've reinstalled mandriva 2008.1 and i didn't found the driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run that would configure my geforce 9600 gt. i've tryied to install the original driver from nvidia but it required xen kernel module.
Code:
# uname -a
Linux DreamLand 2.6.24.7-server-1mnb #1 SMP Mon Jul 28 15:33:25 EDT 2008 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ GNU/Linux
my actuall pc hardware is AMD 64 X2 with 4 GB DDR2 800Hz and with an asus EN9600GT with 1 GB DDR3.

can someone point me which nvidia driver should i use with this GFX card?? [Edit] or maybe which kernel i should use in order to use the Nvidia driver?

thanks in advance.

oh! here is the nvidia-installer.log

nvidia-installer log file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log'

Hi, you need to install a kernel and kernel-source to suit your hardware, ie, 64bit AMD processor.

The zen reference is about your current kernel having zen built in to the kernel.

If you don't need zen, go ahead and install the rpm for kernel and sources.

Download and install these and any dependents,
64bit sources:
64bit kernel to suit AMD64 +2
Reboot to see the changes, it should boot with the new kernel.

Then you can try again to install the nvidia driver.

Cheers, Glenn

Ok small update, i've changed some hardware Motherboard asus P5N-T Deluxe and intel core 2 duo E8200, and i can't make somegames to run correctly... nv drivers problematic? so i've installed Mandriva 2009.0 free DVD, used the normal dkms and nv drivers from official repos for Nvidia 177.7x then updated to 177.80. Since i got the GF9600 i've never been able to run the following games correctly and/or not at all, Ennemy Territory:Quake wars (this game works for 5 min while playing and crash i get back to my desktop my mouse goes full-bar have to restart Xorg) and Spring (it starts well then crash as soon as i launch a map) respectively.

Code:
Linux DoTH 2.6.27-desktop-0.rc8.2mnb #1 SMP Thu Oct 2 06:11:56 EDT 2008 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66GHz GNU/Linux
what could i do? reinstall 2008.1? download mandriva one?
