Font problem after update?

This is the problem. After I update my system the font is all crazy. Every machine I update on it does this. Let me give you an example.

T H I S W H A T I T L O O K S L I K E !

Huge gaps in between the letters.

Any Ideas?

You probably need to reset the default fonts in KDE.

There are various places you need to do this.

Could you tell me were? I'm pretty new to LInux and fon changing. I prefer SuSe 9.1 pro but somebody had stolen my install software.
