I'm using gnome 2.4.1 in Mandrake 10 CE.. How do I get rid of that floppy icon on the desktop? I've tried right clicking > Disks > and clicking floppy but that does nothing.. Anyone?
i kno that in kde its under the desktop preferences...something about putting mounted drives on the desktop and you can check and uncheck drives. you cant simply delete the icon?
I've tried pressing delete while it's highlighted but that doesn't work.. And yeh if you right click and go under drives on the desktop floppy is ticked but when I click it, it doesn't untick
