I just bought an LCD monitor (Princeton Senergy 714) to replace my CRT, and I love the way it looks, BUT...

When I use the Resize and Rotate tool, my computer completely freezes. It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be a pain. Also, my computer freezes on boot about half of the time. It happens right before KDE would initalize, and the only thing you can do is reset the computer.

XP on the same computer runs without any problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
