Firefox Flash-Plugin MDK 9.2

I am having a problem running the Macromedia Flash-Plugin (obtained from the Macromedia site) with Firefox .08 . Firefox works just fine, both installed manually from Mozilla or from http://norlug.org/~chipster/index.pxml?rpms. When I install the flash-plugin, Firefox crashes as soon as it is started. Any ideas?

Make sure libstdc+ (I think that's the name) is installed. I had that prob and installing that fixed it.
