/etc/sysctl.conf issue

Hello,

I am setting up iptables for my
server on Mandriva 2006.

eth0 is WAN
eth1 is LAN.

I have done a NAT on eth0.

And I have the following :

cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
0

But I don't find the line :

net.ipv4.ip_forward

in /etc/sysctl.conf.

Is it different in Mandriva 2006 ?

what shall I do to enable it ?

Shall I just add the line in /etc/sysctl.conf .

Thanks

Varun

Yes, and run
Code:
sysctl -p
to apply the changes
