Epson Stylus C48

Hi there,

The Epson Stylus c48 printer is not listed in cups driver list, so I have set the closest model which is c46.

Printer works but is very slow, eg 30 minutes to print 2 sheets of text.

Has anyone got a solution for this.

It looks like you need to install the gutenprint driver package. That should give you the driver you need.

unfortunately that is the one I am currently using already, with the slow printing problem :-

gutenprint5.0

I will check for newer version

I needed to switch to cups + gutenprint instead of foomatic
