Question easyurpmi & proxy authorisation

How is it possible to configure the entire system (Mandrakelinux 10.1) to use a proxy server with the appropriate port and the user authorisation and password? I cannot make any update of the system, using Mandrakelinux Update, nor can I use easy urpmi to install software.

I believe there was no error after running the command in the console:

Well, in fact this is exactly the site that I have used for urpmi. The problem is that I have no idea how to configure the system to access to the Internet. Maybe there are any ideas with configuring this in KDE or the Environment variables?

I sorry I didn't under stand the question. So you don't have any internet access at all? Or you can't update through the internet?

Actually I am connected to the Internet via the University's server. In order to connect to the internet through this server, I am given the IP address, etc. and a username with a password for authentification to the server. Opera works fine, with no problem what so ever as it gives me the possibilitiy to enter the username and password. The rest of the programs are not so lucky. Now I am wondering if there is a way to configure the whole system to automatically authentificate to the server (in drakconf, Network & Internet, Proxy I did not find this option).

Thank you for trying. Hope someone comes on with an idea, as I had problems installing SDL 1.2.5 and OpenAL in order for trigger to run. I hoped to do it through easyurpmi.
