Lilo will not recognize it. You have to edit the configuration file. Its easy enough though. As to will lilo get messed up, only if you want it to. The installer (_should_) ask you if you want to install a bootloader. In your case, I would say yes. This will overwrite your old lilo, but it (should) ask you for configuration, in which case you can just add your other linux right on in. Oh. and if you mess up your mandrake lilo and it proves unbootable, its not unbootable. You can edit the config right from Yoper, or boot a live cd up to mandrake and do it from there.
