I downloaded Mandriva O7 using Bit Torrent, and it is possibly the slowest version of Linux I've ever used. It detected most of my hardware ok. When I got my TV card working, it worked, but everytime I started up my TV app, if I changed the channel, it would reboot me to the login screen.

Kinda disappointed me, as Mandriva 10.0 was one of the first versions I got to work. It was a little slow, but otherwise worked and was fairly easy to use. '07 didn't last long on my PC before I went back to Ubuntu...
