I don't think that you need that "Mini" disc (it downloads the packages from the Internet rather than getting them off a CD). I also think that you only need 3 (I didn't know there was more!).

what is this
Mandriva-Linux-2005-Limited-Edition-Mini.i586.iso 02/05/2005 438126592

is it an installation disk?

No, you don't need the mini disk. Strick with Disk 1 and Disk 2. Or, if you're concerned with space, download the DVD image instead.

I think its better for you to install 2005LE instead of 2006 beta 3. 2006 beta 3 is for testing purposes and is not yet stable enough for use in production environments. For 2005LE, you need to download the 3 CD's or 1 DVD.

Teoricaly with the Mini you could download just one CD and then download only the packages you need.

In real life I found the Mini or network install extremely unstable, so I highly recomend you download the 3 ISO Images for Mandriva LE 2005. It is rock stable ;)
