I would like to have the DiskDrake partitioner tool on a bootable CD. I know I can use a install CD to accomplish the same thing and that is what I have been doing.
I have done some searches and have found some results that looks like there were at one time attempts to have a download of just the DiskDrake partition tool itself. Does anyone know if there were such a project ? And if so was it every completed, if so where can it be downloaded, or was this project abandon ?
Well, I will check out "Mandriva Move", I do not know what that is.
I have a Mandriva 2006 live cd but it will not boot up. I have tried many distros and have heard good things about Mandriva. I have always been a big fan though of DiskDrake and have an 2005 install disk that I use for a partitioning tool a lot. I would like it much better if I didn't have to boot up an install disk to use it.
I do have a PCLinuxOS 9.2 Live CD in my library, I'll check that out tomorrow. If it is based on Mandriva, I may not be able to boot up on that either then. I'll be back. I am downloading "Mandriva Move" right now.
What is the differance between the 2006 Live CD that I have and the "Mandriva Move" CD ??
