DiskDrake & Compaq Smart-2DH RAID not working (10.1 Community)

All-

I've got a 3 disk RAID 5 setup run off a Compaq Smart-2DH card. On install Mandrake 10.1 identified the RAID properly, putting it in /dev/ida/c0d0. Using DiskDrake I was able to format it (thus creating c0d0p1) and also to mount it, putting it as /mnt/windows/ as I am using this as a file server for an XP workgroup. This all works fine. I can navigate to mnt/windows, and place files there. But upon reboot it fails on the read of fstab, and the only way to get it clear is to remove the /dev/ida/c0d0p1 /mnt/windows/ line from fstab, which means I am back at square 1. Is there a way to make this work? Is there an alternate way to get /dev/ida/c0d0 to mount at boot that will work?

I'm pretty much a super newbie at this point, but a search of both the hardware and Mandrake forums produced nothing on this particular bug.

Thanks
Kevin

Helllloooo? Really, no one has fought this? I found someone over at Linuxloader.com that has basically the same setup, but no answers there either. I feel like this is something simple, but I just don't know what....
