detecting the chipset of a wireless card

I have tried Mandrakes Harddrake to check out my new wireless pci card and it comes up with Ralink RT2500 802.11 Cardbus Reference Card. it doesn't give up the chipset information.

Is there any terminal commands I can use to get this info? Or anyone know the chipset?

This card looks really good as it comes with SMA RP output port and an antennae on a 1 meter lead, so it doesn't emc mask the card as others do, it is also cheap, so would like to get it going.

Is the wrapper any good if I have to go this path?

Thanks for that good to know.

It only gives a listing the same as the hardware driver though and doesn't give the chipset.

Forum search is a handy tool. ;)

There are other posts, too, but glancing at that one, it may be all you need.
