Arrow create boot floppy for mandriva free

Mandriva Free - After installation I tried to create a boot floppy for emergency boot up.

In console : su, given passwd, mkbootdisk --device /dev/fd0 'uname -r' [enter]

message from system : mkbootdisk command unknown.

dir /sbin does not show 'mkboot'

Please advise 1)alternative method to create a boot floppy.
(2)is mkboot really not in the system ?

Thank you.

The mkbootdisk package is included in the contrib media source on the WEB, and depending on how you installed Mandriva and how you configured your Software Media Sources it may be available for installation using the Mandriva Package Manager. Simply enter mkbootdisk in the search box (top) and press the ENTER key. If the package is not found:

The easiest way to set this up is to follow the direction at Easy URPMI. Note: urpmi and the GUI Package Manager use the same software media sources. I have written an article on my LQ Blog to help others better understand all this.
HTH,

I tried and failed to create a boot cd using instructions from an Australian telecom. The instructions were cited in various places. I have not tried again but I've been collecting information which you can seen in my "linux" Google notebook in the section "* grub".
