Question Creat free space from /home partition, how?

I have about 25 Gb of /home partition and a need same space free of this 25 Gb. I want 18Gb of /ome partition and about 7Gb of free space, unformated. I use Mandrake 10.
How can I do this?

I suggest using cfdisk or qtparted.

First off backup your /home directory, so in case something happens, your data is safe.
