crash during 10.1 install (SATA problem ?)
 

Hi,

The installation freeze in the first step while loading VIA SATA/RAID drivers.

I have two drives, one Hitashi 160Go SATA plug on CH1 of my VIA controler (motherboard MSI K8T Neo) and another one is IDE drive.

Do you think this is the freeze problem ? I have other pluging solution :

- using CH0 for SATA drive ?
- using Promise controler instead VIA ?

You could try:
-Push F1 on the boot screen from the disk
-Type 'linux noapic'

My sata drive worked after this.
