You need a boot floppy or some way to get to the Mandrake system and reinstall the bootloader. The Mandrake CD1 has a rescue mode which can be used in such cases. Just reinstall the bootloader.

mandriva install reboot, verifying DMI Pool Data 99 99 99...

Hi,

New install of mandriva on fresh HD. Mandriva is the only OS on this HD.
It installed fine, when it reboots... Bootup, verifying DMI Pool Data 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99... That is all. No where to opt to from there

Please advise me how to set up the bootloader main options page properly during install prosess.
I suspect that is where it is muffed up.

Best

Thanks in advance
